The Rec Room
Each Friday, The DoorWay opens The Rec Room for kids in the community. In addition to pool, ping pong and air hockey, the program offers crafts, a lesson, group games with prizes, and guest speakers, as well as a soda fountain serving free soft drinks, popcorn, and nachos with cheese! The Rec Room offers youth a safe environment where they can have fun and learn more about who they are and who they can become as they follow Jesus
Jr. Staff Leadership Program
Jr. Staff are youth who help to plan and lead the Rec Room. They participate in staff meetings, plan and organize games, and assisting in various activities. These youth learn to be constructive, participating members, who serve as positive role models both in The Rec Room and in their community. Each summer, Jr. Staff participate in a seven-week long leadership development camp.
